Southall is home to the largest concentrations of South Asian people outside of the Indian sub-continent

Southall, where our family is living and serving  is a large suburban district of west London, England, near Heathrow Airport. It is sometimes referred to as “Little India”.

On average, only about 2% of South Asians are Christian.

Residents of Southall have a strong familial connection to India, and much of what goes on there, both culturally and spiritually makes it’s way back to the homeland. This makes the area a very strategic place in which to grow a Gospel-led community that could take the Word of God to many people inside and outside of England.

Serge In London

London is the Crossroads of the world

• 29 countries represented by a population over 30,000
• Over 300 languages spoken

• Religious diversity includes 1.5 Muslims, 1 million Hindus and 400,000 Sikhs

This makes London a very strategic place in which to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Serge currently has several church plants in the London area, including New Life Masih Ghar, which is a multi-cultural Christian church located in the South Asian community. They are a light of the Gospel and have many programs that shine that light into the ethnically diverse community around Southall.

nlmg_sign_smWe work to help grow these churches by using our talents of music, worship and communications to New LIfe Masih Ghar. Our family is living and serving in the Southall community for 5 years, in the hopes of sharing the love of Jesus Christ through our lives, our gifts and our calling.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,  and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Matthew 28:19-20
